RECREATIONAL LEAGUES U4 - U10 (non-traveling teams) 
If it is an entire league day rainout, our commissioners may discuss with coaches to setup a Sunday make-up league day.  If too many teams cannot play on this alternate day, then it will be left up to the choice of the individual Coaches and teams.  Coaches are welcome to schedule a game during one of your normal practice days, or work around practice schedule field availability, and reschedule their own rain-outs and send to the scheduler for final approval. 

Unfortunately, because of the higher cost to schedule a ref for just one game, no referees can be provided for individually rescheduled games for the Rec League.  Only on a league type of make-up day.

TRAVELING TEAMS

From the Field Commissioner & Webmaster regarding Sunday potential field closures:

If there is bad weather and you are playing outside of the normal league schedule (830a-1130a on Saturdays), the coach and team manager will need to make the call about whether or not to cancel the game, and notify the opponents (preferably before they leave toward Bastrop if possible).

You will need to notify Terri French, so she can cancel referees that were scheduled.

If you are at the fields, and it is raining hard, you need to ask the Referee to delay the game if it looks like it may break, or make the call to stop the game, so that the players stay safe.  Safe playing conditions are the most important concern.

Referees, if you are unsure, you need to discuss with coaches for a mutual agreement.

Please contact the scheduler to notify the cancellation of your game, and a reschedule date will be set.
